No matter what type of healthcare industry you work in, it is almost certain that you will be facing challenges every day. Whether it is how to provide the best treatment or dealing with the stress of day-long shifts and a non-stop workload, you always have something to worry about on your mind. While you can take every precaution necessary to make sure you deliver the best quality of care to all patients, there are some things you can’t control – such as lawsuits seeking monetary damages. Even if you’ve never been faced with such a concern, you still never know what the future holds and it is best to make sure you’re covered before it becomes too late.
This is why excess doctor and physician liability insurance is so important to have no matter how good at treating patients you are. While you might have medical malpractice insurance, you are leaving yourself exposed to gaps in these traditional insurance policies, which can exclude defense of wrongful acts (assault & battery or sexual abuse & molestation). These excess liability plans should be viewed as an extension of your current policy to help you stay protected and focus on treating patients rather than stressing about insurance gaps.

No matter how big the case, there’s always going to be a need for private detectives as businesses and individuals need more information they can uncover by themselves. Whether it’s to investigate insurance fraud or infidelity, private detectives can end up putting themselves at risk, both physically and financially. While exercise and caution can help a PI keep their body safe, you can’t always predict what will happen financially, specifically with lawsuits. Clients might think you manipulated information or people you’re investing might claim an invasion of privacy, so you need to make sure you’re protected.
This is why it’s important to have private detective liability insurance to keep yourself covered in the event of a lawsuit filed against you or your company. Even if you don’t run your own company, your employer might not cover your own legal needs, so going the extra step and getting a custom insurance plan can help save you time and money if worse comes to worse. While you make take every precaution possible, you can’t always predict what will happen, so stay safe and protected with a private detective liability insurance plan.

If you work in an industry that involves testing various fire protection systems, you should look into fire suppression contractor liability insurance. Some qualifying businesses can include:
- Automatic Fire Sprinkler Contractors
- Fire Extinguisher Sales & Service Companies
- Restaurant & Special Suppression System Risks
- Fire Alarm/Burglar & Security System Installers
- Fire Equipment Distributors/Fire & Emergency Apparatus Dealers
If you work within this industry, protecting yourself from the dangers of working with fire suppression is critical. Coverage can range from general liability to property, auto, umbrella and others such as workers’ compensation and professional and pollution.
While you might do your best to make sure all work is performed correctly, you can’t predict when accidents will occur or when someone might try to hold you financially responsible for something that was not your fault. This is why you must take extra care in not only your work, but in protecting yourself and making sure you have the right fire suppression contractor liability insurance plan.

With a constantly evolving consumer retail sector as a result of technology and corporate marketing efforts, businesses are finding new ways to get consumers to buy, even in tough economic times. While many consumers are still shopping, most are just shopping less and saving more, which means that businesses need to get smarter about how they market their products. One of the best ways to engage potential customers is with a hands on product demonstration, which is why home demonstrations remain one of the most cost effective ways to market since there is no need for retail space and sales reps are driven by commission.
While this is a great way to make money, it also comes with a certain level of risk since as a home product demonstrator, you will be visiting other people’s homes without always knowing them very well. Whether the homeowner claims theft, harassment, or even worse, you can be held liable for monetary damages. This is why it’s important to have home product demonstrator liability insurance to protect yourself and your business from lawsuits accusing you of wrongdoing. Just because you are great at your job and play it safe doesn’t mean you can’t fall victim to someone scamming a lawsuit against you, so make sure you stay covered.

With the US economy in the middle of the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, company leaders are being looked at to not only help the company stay afloat, but also as to whether or not they’re doing the right thing legally. As more and more board members and directors of companies are exposed for fraudulent activities such as wrongful acts or errors and omissions, now is the time to make sure you are not only doing what’s best for your company, but also that you stay protected in the event that you are wrongfully accused of such acts.
This is why board member and director liability insurance plans are so crucial to have because as legal costs of defending yourself balloon, you will have the coverage to back you up. No matter how great you might think your company is doing, you should always be cautious of your sector being the next one hit by the recession and other board members potentially producing fraudulent data to alleviate company tension. Traditional insurance plans only cover you while acting in the capacity of director or officer, that is if you are involved in other activities and using your influence or expertise. As a board member or director, you probably do not have liability coverage in place if a claim or incident occurs. Even if you are honest with all your work, you can’t always be sure what other board members or directors are doing, so be sure to protect yourself with board member and director liability insurance.
