Frivolous Lawsuits

We’ve all grown up hearing those stories about “that lady” who sued “that fast food place” because her coffee was too hot. Or “that guy” who sued “that brewery” because their beer made him run into a telephone pole with his Ford Bronco. Or “that Lindsay Lohan” who sued “anybody” because, well, who knows why she does anything, really (click here to shake your head at her and sigh in exasperation).

But frivolous lawsuits aren’t just the subject of humorous web searches anymore.

Some people out there are looking for an easy break. An easy, semi-legal break. America is still a great country, and 90% of its citizens are up-standing, well-intentioned people who do not list “Benefit from fortunate lawsuit” as one of their New Year’s Resolutions. However, there’s always that 10% of every population who would love nothing more than to take advantage of some poor, unprotected person and their family.

Many people out there are more open to lawsuits than they would realize. Maybe they own a dog, or a trampoline, or firearms. Maybe they coach little league or rent out their boat. Maybe they take kids hiking, or babysit at a church, or go skydiving.

For these people out there, doing great things and enjoying their lives, there is always that faint hint of trouble out there, but there are ways to find protection from the dangers of frivolous lawsuits:

  1. Go online at xinsurance.com and take a quick, easy test to find out what areas in your life could be targeted by people looking for easy money. (Once you’re there, click on the “Start MyLiability Profile” link at the bottom of the page to get started).
    1. Are you personally liable. . .
    2. At home?
    3. At work?
    4. At play?
  2. Or, you could just Walk around inside a protective bubble all day (Watch this video).

If you’re worried about liabilities, give one of our XINSURANCE agents a call at 877-585-2853, or email us at info@XINSURANCE.com. We’ll help you take care of any personal liability insurance needs you might have.

And if that doesn’t work, we have the contact info for a great protective bubble manufacturer in Zhejiang, China (really, you should watch that video).
