Passenger liability is another essential helicopter pilot insurance coverage. Available on a per-seat basis, this protects any passengers riding in the aircraft if they are injured or killed in an accident. Your passenger liability coverage will pay for the medical expenses and protect you if the family of the deceased individual or one of the injured passengers decides to sue you for negligence.
• Vandals break into the hangar where you keep your helicopter and cause extensive damage to the aircraft. If you carry hull insurance, it should cover your loss up to the agreed value on the policy.
